What is Positive Intelligence?

We come to this world with a blank mind, and it starts to fill up with data from our first breath. It is estimated that the human body sends 11 million bits per second to the brain for processing, yet the conscious mind seems to be able to process only 50 bits per second.

A lot of the data processing takes place beneath the surface, in our subconscious mind where we have less control over.
Our emotions, behavior patterns, and responses take shape of their own. Every event and situation triggers a pattern in our brain. When a pattern repeats itself, it becomes a default state, a behavioral pattern or a habit.

It is hard to change these automatic responses, but not impossible.

Positive intelligence (PQ) is a fantastic tool that simplifies the chattering voices we have in our head and allows us to take control of the mind in a practical and relatively short time.

In research conducted by Shirzad Chamine with over 500,000 participants in 50 countries. People managed to take back control of their minds and turn their life around.

Positive Intelligence targets the operating system of the brain.
If the operating system works properly, the integration with other applications will be smooth. Without a functional operating system, it doesn't matter how great other software is, it just won't work to its full potential.

Mental Fitness

If you’re physically fit, you can climb steep hills without physical stress. If you’re mentally fit, you can handle life’s great challenges without mental stress or other negative emotions. You’ll be happier and perform better.

Mental fitness is a measure of the strength of your positive mental muscles (Sage) versus the negative (Saboteur).

This measure of your Mental Fitness is called PQ (Positive Intelligence Quotient).
The research is based on the latest breakthroughs in neuroscience, cognitive and positive psychology, and performance science.

500,000 participants from all walks of life have shown PQ to be the best predictor of how happy you are and how well you perform relative to your potential.

The Three Elements of Positive Intelligence

We can see thousands of colors with only three light receptors (Red, Green, Blue) within the eye that transmit messages to the brain.

Three factors allow you to take control over the entire operating system of your brain:
👉 Weaken the Saboteurs - the negative voices in your head
👉 Strengthen the Sage - the positive voices in your head
👉 PQ muscle - shift from saboteur mode to sage mode on command

The voices in your head determine:
👉 The way you respond to a challenge
👉 The level of your happiness
👉 The quality of your relationships
👉 Your productivity under any circumstances

The 10 Saboteurs

The Saboteurs generate all your “negativity” in the way they respond to challenges. Your Saboteurs cause all your stress, anxiety, self-doubt, frustration, regret, shame, guilt, and unhappiness.

We all have the master saboteur AKA "The judge"
This is the voice that :
😈 Judge you
😈 Judge others
😈 Judge circumstances

The judge has 9 more accomplices. Their dominance may differ between people.

The 9 saboteur accomplices (alphabetically):

😈 Avoider

Focusing on the positive and pleasant in an extreme way. Avoiding difficult and unpleasant tasks and conflicts.

😈 Controller

Anxiety-based need to take charge and control situations and people’s actions to one’s own will. High anxiety and impatience when that is not possible.

😈 Hyper-Achiever

Dependent on constant performance and achievement for self-respect and self-validation. Highly focused on external success, leading to unsustainable workaholic tendencies and loss of touch with deeper emotional and relationship needs.

😈 Hyper-Rational

Intense and exclusive focus on the rational processing of everything, including relationships. Can be perceived as cold, distant, and intellectually arrogant.

😈 Hyper-Vigilant

Continuous intense anxiety about all the dangers and what could go wrong. The vigilance that can never rest.

😈 Pleaser

Indirectly tries to gain acceptance and affection by helping, pleasing, rescuing, or flattering others. Loses sight of own needs and becomes resentful as a result.

😈 Restless

Restless, constantly in search of greater excitement in the next activity or constant busyness. Rarely at peace or content with the current activity.

😈 Stickler

Perfectionism and a need for order and organization are taken too far.

😈 Victim

Emotional and temperamental to gain attention and affection. An extreme focus on internal feelings, particularly painful ones.

The Saboteurs abuse your strengths and turn them into weaknesses.
They give you the breadcrumbs whereas the sage gives you the whole bread.

The big lie of the saboteurs is:
“I’m your friend, I’m good for you, your success came from me pushing you”

You may have some successes with the saboteur's approach, but in the long run, they make you miserable, stressed, and unable to keep up.

Take the FREE saboteur assessment and find out who are your dominant saboteurs. You must know your enemy to fight it.

The 5 Sage Powers

Your “Sage” lives in an entirely different region of your brain and handles challenges in ways that produce positive emotions like curiosity, empathy, creativity, calm, joy, peace, and clear-headed laser-focused action.
You’d perform better and feel happier.

It required practice over time to be able to see the gift in a "bad" situation.
Practicing the PQ muscle deliver results that can be seen via an MRI machine within 6 to 8 weeks.
These changes reflect the way you handle challenges, indicate an increase in happiness and reduction in stress levels, regardless of the circumstances.

When you are facing a challenge like the Corona Virus, and you wait for it to over. You are dealing with a lot of stress and negative energy. The sage tries to see the gift that can be created for myself and others during these difficult times.

🧙 Emphasize

🧙 Innovate

Create new perspectives and outside-the-box solutions by generating new ideas. Focus on the 10% good even in a bad idea.

🧙 Navigate

See what truly matters and what doesn’t by connecting with your deeper sense of meaning, values, and purpose. Your elder-wiser self has the answers.

🧙 Activate

Stay calm, fearless, clear-headed, and laser-focused.
Take the needed action without overthinking.
Anticipate how your Saboteurs would try to sabotage the action.
Anticipate how your Sage would respond.

Self-Command Muscle

You go to the gym and exercise to build strong muscles that allow you to go through physical stress and lift heavy loads.

You train your PQ muscle to build a resilient mind that allows you the mental fitness to go through mental and emotional adversities without the stress.

Strong PQ muscle allows you to notice when the saboteurs have taken over your decision-making mechanism so you'll be able to weaken them and empower your sage powers.

Activating the PQ muscle can be done by 2 minutes of practice at a time, throughout the day.
Practice such as:

👌 Breath - breath deeply and notice the rise and fall of your chest or stomach

👌 Breath - notice the temperature of the air when it enters your nostrils and the temperature of the air when it leaves your nostrils

👌 Touch - rubbing two fingers in such a tension so you feel the fingertips ridges

👌 Touch - touch an object and feel its texture, temperature, shape, etc

👌 Listen - listen to distant and near sounds around you

👌 Visual - notice the colors, shades, textures of an object near you.

👌 Visual - notice objects in the distance and near you by changing your focused attention
